I Live Tweeted the World of Warcraft Movie
Share
I went to the World of Warcraft movie with my old guildmates today, and the fact that I planned to tweet during the entire film should tell you how much I was looking forward to it.
Having a pint and some wings with my old tank, off-healer, and a couple of DPS guys was a blast. The movie was decidedly "meh." But the trailers had me so convinced that it was going to be a disaster, I considered it an achievement that it managed to be ok. You can see all my thoughts on this triumph of mediocrity, stream-of-consciousness style, by checking out my tweets below.
Alright. It's time to live tweet the #Warcraft movie. If I go silent, that means the movie is way more interesting than expected.

#WarcraftMovie has a new #SuicideSquad trailer I haven't seen before. Looks good, which is nice. DC needs a win in the cinema.

Appropriately enough, first fight even in #WarcraftMovie involves moving straight forward and spamming attack.

I thought half-orcs were just a #DnD thing, but not if Lothar keeps making eyes at that low-CGI Orc lady. #WarcraftMovie

...And of course, I end on a typo.
Overall, I enjoyed the movie to a degree. There are certainly worse ways to spend your time. (Like grinding rep for an obscure faction so you can get a new set of pauldrons.)
